Sawn timber & pallets

AM Trading offers sawn timber of Ukraine origin. 

We supply our material to Greece, Israel, China, Romania, Germany, India, Vietnam and US. We offer sawn timber (Pinus sylvestris): deadwood, fresh cut and KD (kiln dried). We also offer EPAL-certified and non-certified pallets.  

AM Trading has zero tolerance policy for unsustainable forestry and therefore works only with suppliers with FSC-certified. We also pay utmost attention to quality, sourcing, origin and authenticity of cargo and documents. 

We have 47 suppliers, who are private and state owned forestries and saw mills. 

We can produce custom sizes according to request. 

Monthly supply volumes: up to 9000 cbm per month.

Quality:

Allowed: only a board from the central part, one chopping block per deck, this lumber is made from a group of diameters 14-19, 20-24, 26-32, maximum 6 pieces per log.; just solitary pitch pockets.  
Tolerance: width/thickness -0/+ 1 mm, length 50mm+
Not allowed: coloring (blueness, brown stripes); cracks; mushrooms and insect damages; wormholes; falling, decayed and tobacco knots; mechanical damages; wane; compression wood, sawn from wider beams (double width), timber made of other species (fir, larch etc)

Export packing – bundles to be without deformation, forklift space with bottom layers and tight strip winding. Lining (sticks) to unload with a forklift.

Quality:

Allowed: warm holes, pencil wane, half width wane and one side sharp wane. Sharp wane and half width wane 3-5% from total amount of boards in the bundle.
Not allowed: sharp and two-sided wane, rot, bark.
All sawn timber is produced by multi disc machine.
Export packing – bundles to be without deformation, forklift space with bottom layers and tight strip winding. Lining (sticks) to unload with a forklift.
